Shakespeare confetti by Bookity
So, somehow, we have now found ourselves in 2012! We’ve had a fantastic 2011 and would like to thank all our lovely customers, blog readers and fellow crafters for helping to make it such a good year. We have lots in store for 2012 and it’s looking like we should be in for an even more exciting year! A few things to look out for are:
Felt by the metre
Due to some stock issues with our wholesaler, we unfortunately had to delay our order for felt to stock by the metre. As soon as we hear that they are all restocked then we will get our order in and will finally be able to start offering larger pieces of felt. We’re feeling very impatient so hopefully it won’t be a long wait!
A Restoration Project
We are about to embark on a very exciting project to restore a stone outbuilding so that it can become the fancy new headquarters for The Felted Rainbow. It’s becoming a bit of squeeze to fit all the felt into our craft room so the extra space will be fantastic. We’ll be blogging about the process and providing lots of photos, so make sure you stay tuned if you want to see it happen! The first job is to clear it out as it’s currently full of assorted bits of wood and lots of manure!
More blogging and tutorials
Last year was so busy and blogging took more of a back seat than I’d have liked it to. My first new years resolution is to blog much more often and to finally get round to doing some more tutorials. Please do give me a poke if you don’t see this happening!
A brand spanking new website
Work has begun on a proper website for The Felted Rainbow. We have a fantastic (at least we think so!) vision for the website and we will be busily putting it all together. We can’t wait to have it all ready to go live and to find out what you all think.
So, that’s some of what we have planned so far for this year. What are all of you going to be doing?
